CORE SPECIALTY

Dust Collection & Pneumatic Conveying Specialists

Most electrical contractors can wire a panel. Few understand what happens inside a dust collector or why a pneumatic conveying line loses velocity at the terminal. ISA Professionals was built around these systems — it's where 20+ years of field experience is concentrated.

Dust Collection Systems

We install, automate, and troubleshoot baghouse dust collectors, cartridge collectors, and cyclone separators for bulk material handling, woodworking, food processing, and chemical facilities. From pulse-jet timer controls and differential pressure monitoring to full PLC-based automation with remote alarming — we handle the electrical scope end to end.

  • Baghouse and cartridge collector installation
  • Pulse-jet solenoid wiring and timer controls
  • Differential pressure monitoring and alarming
  • Fan motor and VFD integration
  • Rotary airlock and diverter valve controls
  • Compliance with NFPA 654 and OSHA dust hazard requirements

Pneumatic Conveying Systems

Pressure and vacuum pneumatic conveying systems require precise electrical integration to run reliably. We commission new systems, retrofit aging controls, and troubleshoot performance issues — plugged lines, inconsistent throughput, blower surging — tracing faults from the source to the terminal.

  • Dilute and dense phase conveying system controls
  • Blower and compressor motor wiring and VFD setup
  • Divert valve and rotary valve sequencing
  • Pressure and vacuum transducer integration
  • Filter receiver and cyclone separator controls
  • System commissioning and performance verification

Common Questions

Do you install dust collection systems?

Yes. We handle the full electrical scope for dust collection system installations — from motor and VFD wiring to pulse-jet controls, differential pressure monitoring, and PLC automation. We work with all major collector manufacturers and can integrate new systems into existing plant controls.

Can you troubleshoot a pneumatic conveying system that keeps plugging or losing throughput?

Absolutely. Pneumatic conveying problems are often electrical in origin — a failing VFD, a mistuned pressure setpoint, a stuck divert valve, or a sequencing issue in the PLC. We diagnose the full system, not just the obvious failure point, and we've resolved conveying problems that other contractors couldn't find.

Do you work on existing systems or only new installations?

Both. We retrofit and upgrade existing dust collection and pneumatic conveying controls as often as we install new systems. If your equipment is running on aging relay logic or an obsolete PLC, we can modernize the controls without replacing the mechanical equipment.

What industries do you serve?

We work across industries that move bulk materials — food and grain processing, chemical and pharmaceutical manufacturing, woodworking and wood products, plastics, mining, and general industrial. If it has a dust collector or a pneumatic conveying line, we can help.

Do you travel for projects?

Yes. We serve clients across the U.S., Canada, Mexico, and internationally. Travel is standard for us — we go where the work is.

Our Approach

Every project follows a proven process — from the first conversation to final commissioning.

01

Assess

We start by understanding your operation, your goals, and the specific challenges you're facing.

02

Design

Our team develops a detailed plan — electrical schematics, control logic, equipment specs, and installation scope.

03

Execute

Skilled installation and integration work, performed safely and efficiently with minimal disruption to your operation.

04

Commission

Full system testing, startup support, and documentation — we don't leave until everything runs right.
